                                                Why ?

The reasons why I have chosen the teapot is that  the shapes and styles  have evolved over time and have accompanied the historical evolution  of the country , just as all other items: the  forms reflect   tastes, social classes as well as techniques used to elaborate  such objects. All these factors make the kettle a meaningful indicator  of the history.

The second reason is that ''Teapot'' stands for generosity, hospitality and warm welcome. For this blog  I need an emblematic  object that ensures the closest possible connection to the location and I think that the teapot deals exhaustively with  this aspect. Furthermore, in the section allocated to ''La cosa come simbolo'' I found an advertising poster with many  reputed symbols of the city and one of them was unbeatably the teapot, which  strongly supports the'' symbolism of the teapot'' in this regard.
